Last Thanksgiving, Ethan, my mom and myself flew up to Sa Francisco to see my sister! It was a fun trip! So when we spotted a cheap flight on Black Friday we snatched it up...it didn't last long!
Ethan and I left on Saturday morning for a 9am flight but due to fog in SF it was delayed by almost 2 hours. So, we ate Swedish fish (at 8am), and had some juice (well...mimosa for me!)
We finally left and had a nice quick flight up to San Francisco!
Ethan even got to go in the cockpit. He was most impressed with the seat that went up/down, forward/backward and side to side!
Since our flight was delayed, my sisters rented (by the hour) car had to be turned back in, so we took the BART.
We met Lolo at the mall as we both had Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow wax appointments. Priorities! Ethan was happy to eat his La Boulange grilled cheese sandwich and a Raspberry Macaroon while we flip flopped getting services done! I look forward to their Chai Tea Latte's (sweet, not spicy) every time!
The next day we saw Lolo cantor mass. Ethan did pretty good but was glad to be outta there!
Next to the church was a huge organic farmer's market...where Ethan promptly saw the balloon lady and asked for a phallic sword.
That afternoon we saw the Golden Gate Bridge, then went to a trampoline place. Ethan had fun jumping but got pretty bored. There was a 3-6 area and a 7+ area. He wished he were 7 at that time! I wish the moderator would have been more interactive with the kids. He was over it pretty quickly.
We of course had to do Lombard Street.
Lolo got a car transporter and cars for Ethan and he loved zooming it down her stairs.
And of course the GG bridge!
We also drove into Muir Woods which was super cool. We got there mid day so the parking was full. People were parked on the sides of the roads and the park rangers were giving out tons of tickets! So we didn't park or hike but it was beautiful to drive through. We did find an awesome lookout. It's hard to believe we were 15 min away from the city!
We popped into her work to introduce Ethan to some coworkers (then proceeded to get a parking ticket for the meter expiring by 1 minute).
Then it was a super early flight home and off to school for Ethan! What a fun trip!
