Oh finally...these babies are at the same school! It is so amazing to have one dropoff and one pickup! Chasey is in 1st and Ethan is in 3rd. We're super happy with their teachers and it's been well over a week and so far so good!

August misc.
What a busy August it has been. We checked many things off of our summer bucket list and had a great time!
Yesterday 8/29 was Eric's birthday and we regrettably have no photos! We made a delicious BBQ'd steak dinner at home with baby potatoes, broccoli, grilled corn, breadsticks and Nothing Bundt Cakes!
Family game night. The game of Life!
Doing some summer workbook pages while waiting for pizza.
Soccer! Ethan is on the Cranberry Zombies!
Chase is on the Green Dragons!
The Goods donuts (so darn good!)
I told the boys we could go to Michael's for a craft. Our neighbor had recently made a fondant cake for their dads birthday so the kids REALLY wanted to do this. Not exactly a craft but it kept them busy! :)
Eric and I made this adorable donut stand for my sisters bridal shower.
Beach day with some buddies!
Eric and I had a delicious date night. So good!!!
Loved these s'mores!
Baseball evaluations. It will be a VERY busy fall with soccer, baseball and karate. Ethan is on the Blue Claws and Chase is on the Fireflies.
There was lots of Lego building this summer.
My bestie comes to San Diego every year and we go down to see some college friends as well. It's so fun to see the kids grow older year after year. Since she was there for the week, the boys and I went down and spent some time at the "carnival".

Chase's 6 year old well visit
Chase got his annual well visit and he's doing great!
7.30.18
Height: 46" (61%)
Weight: 47# (58%)
BMI: 57%
Chasey love had a good doctor visit today! He did get a shot (2nd chicken pox) which I wasn't expecting so it was a bit sad for a few minutes but he did great!
He is still doing year around karate and in the spring finished his first "real" baseball (tee-ball) team (The Pirates). The fall will be busy with not only karate and soccer, but also "fall ball" baseball (for both boys)! Chase is a natural athlete and loves his sports! It is just so fun to watch that boy.
He wears a 13 or 1 shoe and size 6/7 clothes.
Chase is the solo morning guy in the house waking up between 6-7am naturally. He goes to bed around 8:30pm and normally gets between 9 1/2-10 hours of sleep a night. He still loves his "beary" and "panda" but has a few other favorites that he throws in the mix from time to time. But he is not dependent on any lovies to fall asleep anymore!
He really learned how to read in Kindergarten which was SO cool to see. The books a year ago were super basic BOB books. Now he can read real stories with help from time to time. :)
Chase loves bagels & cream cheese, strawberries, and Trader Joes frozen mac n cheese (which the kids call "bomb" mac n cheese)
His favorite show is Battle Bots and PJ Masks.
Chase has REALLY come into his own little personality this year. He has become super silly which has been a gradual onset. He loves making silly faces and trying to get you to laugh (I'm sure that is modeled after Ethan). He is still sweet as can be and is always up for a hug or kiss. He is a really good rule follower when he wants to be and is such a pleaser (when Ethan isn't around to egg on naughty behavior). Those two have so much fun playing together, but also hate each other something fierce. I love watching them laugh and just cannot wait to see how their brotherly friendship blossoms through the years.
Happy SIXTH Chase! Onto 1st grade!

Chase is 6!
Chase love turned 6 this week! The day started out great, but at breakfast he said the right side of his head hurt. That's not like him but we had gone swimming the day before and I wasn't sure if he'd ingested a ton of water, hit his head and I didn't know how bad it was, or he had a headache and couldn't articulate that!
We had planned to get donuts before camp and I was super concerned when he didn't want a donut on his birthday no less! So I said he wasn't going to camp that day, we came home and I offered him one of his presents and when he discovered it was a Lego set it was like he was 100%. I have NO idea what that morning was all about. Anxiety or something??? So odd and he's been AOK ever since.
After lunch he and I went to Chuck E Cheese, then we picked up Ethan from camp and when Eric came home we FaceTimed with the grandmas and auntie and opened gifts!
It was a great day!
