Ethan had his 7 year old well visit back on November 14th.
Height 48 1/4" (55th %)
Weight 52 pounds (56th %)
BMI 50%
He is a healthy little guy who occasionally complains of tummy aches which we've ruled out allergies and have decided that it's either constipation or anxiety.
He wears size 7 clothes and size 2-3 shoe. He goes to bed around 8-9pm and wakes up at 7am. He still wears a pullup at night and I do not see the light at the end of the tunnel on that one. Sadly he still has some pee accidents during the day. We've decided he has a MAJOR fear of FOMO (fear of missing out). He can feel it, but chooses to hold it. Then is so entrenched that he forgets and goes a little in his pants. He just doesn't want to be bothered with going to the bathroom (even though we tell him over and over it's faster to go pee and wash hands then changing clothes but oh well). It's frustrating but we know he won't be having accidents in college right? I hope!
Ethan isn't really into any one show. He'll watch whatever (although Chase loves Team Umizoomi and he can't stand it). The boys LOVE Elf and Home Alone 1 and 2.
Academically Ethan is doing great! He even got Mathematician of the Month for his class in November which really was a great confidence booster for him. He really is so good at math and he surprises me with how quick he is. You can really see that he understands the concepts behind stuff! We're so proud of him! He's doing great at reading too! At his parent teacher conference he's already reading at the level that he's supposed to be at the end of the 1st grade year. Socially he is still struggling a bit. His BIG personality rubs people the wrong way and sometimes he doesn't get social cues. He also is so stubborn and impatient. Clearly my child. :( All things we'll continue to work on in 2017.
Ethan isn't super lovey but in the right moment he loves nothing more than to snuggle right up and watch a movie with covers. He has a very sweet soul and I just love this boy more than I could have imagined.
