What a fun Halloween this was. It brings back such fun memories from being little and it's just so joyous to get to relive those memories through Ethan (and Chase).
We had Eric's parents Nana and Bapa Gordy in town, and my dad and stepmom, Bapa Doody and GG drove down to see the boys. My mom Grandma Jeanne wasn't able to make it this year! GG made Chili and cornbread and we had a speedy dinner. We decorated some cupcakes and quickly got the boys in costume.
Ethan was Optimus Prime (a Transformer) and Chase was a little doggy. We gathered outside with our neighbors and Chase walked around a little bit, then we popped him in the push car. The night went by quickly and it was quite the whirlwind. The neighborhood kids split off into a few different groups and we went around with about 6 kids + parents and went up our street (with wine in hand), and down the cul da sac. I took Chase back at about 7pm and GG and Bapa took Ethan back home after more trick or treating.
Chase stayed up WAY past his bedtime but seemed to be having fun cruising around with death grips on his 2 pumpkin glow sticks. He finally went down and we said our goodbyes. Ethan took a bath with his glowsticks and he had a late night as well.
Ethan's been wanting his candy for breakfast, lunch and dinner so that's been 'fun' to ward off.
