Ethan's went to his 6 year old well visit appointment on 12/2.

He wears size 6 clothes and size 7 PJ's. His shoe size jumped to a 2 (from a 12 at age 5)!
He goes to bed at 8pm and wakes around 7am...no nap.
He is for the most part accident free during the day. We had a bout of a few weeks where we had to put him a pullup day and night but we figured out it was a control/behavioral thing. He is much better now and will only on occasion have an accident. It's usually when there is an event and he is so distracted or he is playing really hard and can't be bothered to pee. He still wears a pullup at night though.
He likes watching Wild Kratts, PJ Masks and has been into movies lately like Big Hero 6, Wreck It Ralph, Minions, Despicable Me, Toy Story etc.
This has been a rough year for him as most of his friends from the private preschool went to the local elementary school for Kindergarten but he isn't there. He plays with a few boys in his class but I really thinks he misses his old cohorts Aiden and Sammy. He is doing really well in his Kinder class with Miss Robin and we've seen a noticeable increase in his desire for school. It's refreshing.
He is also reading really well. He practices his "sight words" and gets tested when he is ready. But it's amazing what progress he has made in just a few months. It's really quite amazing.
His 2 bottom teeth are gone but one of the top front teeth is very wiggly and the other front tooth is starting to wiggle.
Ethan is still very sensitive on the inside but appears to be tough as nails on the outside. He really does have quite a tender heart that needs lots of love, hugs and nurturing. He is a very sweet boy...when he's not beating up Chase.

I've been making these muffins for years for the boys school birthday snacks. Flax is hidden by sprinkles! He did a Kindergarten birthday celebration the day before his birthday as his actual birthday is Veteran's Day...no school!
We met up with my girlfriend are her kids and had a little playdate
That night we went to dinner. Chili's. Not super exciting but it's loud enough that it can tolerate our wild children and will have a good kids menu.
The evening after his birthday we drove to Huntington Beach and spent the night so we could go to Knott's Berry Farm. We bought season passes this time so we can go all of next year!
But we didn't get there until almost 9 and there were cupcakes waiting so of course the boys dug in...and didn't go to bed until 11pm!!!
The next day we went to Knott's and it wasn't very crowded which was amazing!
