A few months ago Chase had a dental cleaning and the dentist noted some browning on his lower middle tooth. He said it was either infected/dying and needed to be pulled or it would heal. We re X-rayed and it seemed to be getting better! So it stayed! However, the inside of the tooth had some chipped enamel, so to allow it to not get a cavity as easy, he filled it in with some composite.
They recommended a morning appointment but when that happens it is SO hard to send him back to school as the day is going and it's hard to insert him into whatever the other children are doing (assuming they aren't outside). I requested an afternoon appointment (4:40pm) and said that I KNEW he could do it. The dentist doesn't do procedures on kids in the afternoon. She reluctantly agreed and he did amazing. He held still and didn't squirm at all! He's amazing!!!!
A new blown up ball made him super happy afterwards and we still have a tooth! :)
