A few randoms from August.
Ethan finally lost his two baby teeth to the sides of his big front teeth!
Eric and Ethan finished their cornhole project. To say it was a labor of love is an understatement.
The boys had their eye exams. I need to get a second opinion because Ethan has been "fine" all along and Chase has a slight astigmatism that we've been watching since he was 2. Chase is stable and we'll "wait and see" if he has troubles in school. And Ethan was fine before dilation but after dilation his left eye came back at a -2. So we should get glasses for him. But I want to get a 2nd opinion because it was fine before dilation, then not fine after. The dr said it's because his brain was compensating (squinting maybe?) to correct the vision but when his muscles were "paralyzed" by the drops, he couldn't do that...so we'll see!
And their dentist appointments! Still no cavities for either (knock on wood!). Chase has a dead-ish lower tooth that he's had for years due to an injury (we have no idea how he got it). It's wiggly and who knows if it's from the tooth being infected or dying. Or, if it's because he's 5 and it is about that time anyhow.
Of course school started and all has gone very well thus far.
The big solar eclipse! Ethan had no school that day so we last minute made viewers from a cereal box.
Eric and Ethan metup with his friend Scott and son Josh to jetski. They loved it!
While they did that, Chase and I had a lunch and GlowZone play date.

Ethan adores our neighbor Kate and they love making a fort and watching TV.
It was a good August!
