Chase is 9 months old

 

Chase baby...you are more fun every month that passes!  This was a big month for milestones and you seem really proud of yourself!

-Weight is 22lb 2 oz (94.75 %ile)

-Height is 29 inches (83.22 %ile)

-Head Circumference is 45 cm (46.05 %ile)
(stats taken 4.15.13 (10 days before 9 month bday)

-You are in size 4 diapers and 9-12 month clothes and 12-18 month jammies.

-You eat 3 meals a day (about 4 oz each). Plums were new this month but it was mostly the same stuff.

-You nurse in the morning and in the evening and get 2 bottles throughout the day.  I'd say you got about 20 oz a day.  It's been slowing down.

-You still sleep 6-6 at night.  You are finally on 2 naps!  It is SO much nicer and I think you are happier as you go right down.  Well...except lately when you are happy to STAND in your crib (we lowered the crib by 2 spots and probably should have just gone all the way down)!  You just love to pull yourself up and jump and squeal!

 

-You started officially crawling last weekend on 4.20.13 (just shy of 9 months).  You had been army crawling for about 2 weeks prior to that but now you can really move.  You aren't too fast yet but if you want something (like the knob on our tv console) you get to it fast!

 

-You do not spit up at all when being burped which needs a mention in itself!

 

-You got your first 2 teeth and it looks like your top gums are swollen a bit too.  The crankiness has been turned up the last few days!  And the paci has been in your mouth a lot as well.

 

-The separation anxiety is continuing.  You get bored really easily with your toys + you are teething so you love to be held!  I've been cooking dinner with you on my hip these days.

 

-You love bouncing in our lap while standing up, or with your feed on the ground and your hands are held.  You're getting kind of over the jumperoo which is too bad because I know you're safe and can't crawl anywhere in there! 

 

-You can "walk" assisted and love it!

 

-You are obsessed with your own toes, the TV remote and my cell phone!

 

-Kelsey is watching you almost full time and we could not be more happy.  We may even be able to keep her through the fall with a bit of finagling with our work schedules!
