We arrived to a total schnauzer house! Including 5 little puppies running around. We saw her and played with a few others and finally decided to get her (after about an hour). The only problem was, we had nothing!!!! We luckily had our checkbook and wrote the breeder a check for the dog and the crate. We put her in the crate and drove over to Petsmart in Hemet. We got some treats, toys, chew sticks, food/water bowls and a leash.
The night was good...she slept in her crate outside of her room. She did some little cries, but overall did a very good job. We've had a few accidents in the house today, but we'll get into a rhythm soon!
Today consisted of buying a gate, collar, tag, bed, more toys, more treats and bones. She will be eating a raw diet for now until we decide what we want/need to feed her.
Chloe is very playful but affectionate. She is a true pup and wants to get into everything, but she has been a joy in the less than 24 hours that we have had her. She was born 7 4 08 so she's almost 4 months old. I'm sure more pics to come!
She found a little spot on the couch that she likes. (Our new sofa will be here mid December-let's hope that works out well!)
With her pineapple that she got from the breeder Cindy
Her old house didn't have any stairs, so she didn't know how to go up or down them...a little awkward. She's now got 'up' down, but the 'down' is still a work in progress.
She saw her reflection in the fireplace...
This is the picture that the breeder sent...it doesn't do her justice!
